British Guiana (Guyana) Colonies of Demerary and Essequebo 3 Joes of 22 Guilders Each ND (1830s) Pick B3. A rare remainder grading PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. This issue never entered circulation. The colony continued to use Dutch denominations of currency even though under British control since November 20, 1815. Issued coins were minted from 1809 to 1835 and spanned denominations from 3 bits up to 3 Guilder. We know of one B3 changing hands at auction. It was a raw VG-Fine note that realized $977.50 in 2014.
