Danzig Senate of the Municipality 500 Millionen Mark 26.9.1923 Pick 28a. PMG has graded only three examples equal and none higher of this Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ note that is original in all aspects. Embossing in the back margins is bold and the centering is perfect within balanced margins. It has been over four years since a Pick 28a has appeared at auction at this grade level that we know about. Those two pieces realized $977.50 and $1,035 in 2014. However, neither one of those notes had an appropriate bank band with it like the piece in this lot. The note and the bank band are both encapsulated together within the third party holder, but the bank band is not graded. From the Feeling Good Collection HID08701242017
