East Africa Currency Board 100 Shillings = £5 1.7.1941 Pick 31as Specimen. Colors are brilliant on this highest denomination with all zero serial numbers. Heavy embossing, especially of the denomination in words, is easily seen from the back. Annotations further date the note to December 31, 1946, interestingly written in the American date format.
