EUBOIA, Euboian League. Circa 304-290 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.83 g, 12 h), Eretria. Head of the nymph Euboea to left, her hair rolled, wearing a triple-pendant earring. Rev. EY Protome of a cow to right, head facing and draped with a fillet; to right, bunch of grapes. Wallace 65, dies XXXVI-41 (this coin). Beautifully toned, a remarkably lovely coin of fine style, perfectly centered and well-struck from new dies. Extremely fine.
