SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Laodicea ad Mare. Geta. AD 209-211. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 12.39 g, 12h). Radiate head right / Eagle standing facing on ground line, head and tail left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; star between legs. Cf. McAlee, Severan 34 (Caracalla); cf. Bellinger 67 (Caracalla); cf. Prieur 1166 (Caracalla). Good VF, slight porosity. Apparently unique obverse type for Geta from this mint.
