THESSALY, Phakion. 3rd century BC. Æ Trichalkon (21mm, 7.42 g, 5h). Wreathed head of nymph right / Horseman riding right, raising hand; grain ear between horse’s hind legs. Papaevangelou Group II, 25a (O8/R22 – this coin, illustrated); BCD Thessaly II 566 (same obv. die). Good VF, dark green patina, worn away in a few spots. Rare.
