Philip I. AD 244-249. AR Antoninianus (23mm, 4.14 g, 12h). Antioch mint. Struck AD 249. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Radiate lion advancing left. RIC IV 80 var. (lion right); Bland Study 38; RSC 157 var. (same). EF, bright surfaces, traces of porosity. Extremely rare with lion left, only six examples noted by Bland.
