BITHYNIA, Kalchedon. Circa 260-230 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 17.19 g, 1h). In the name and types of Lysimachos of Thrace. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; ME monogram to inner left, grain ear in exergue. Marinescu Issue 21 (unlisted dies); Müller –; Hunterian 75. Good VF, slightly weak strike on Athena’s head, small die break on outer right of reverse. Very rare.
