ARABIA, Eastern. Uncertain. 3rd–2nd centuries BC(?). AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 15.91 g, 12h). Imitating types of Alexander III of Macedon struck in Egypt under Ptolemy I. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; winged thunderbolt in left field, Λ in pellet form(?) below throne. Apparently unpublished, but cf. Price 3976 for the prototype. Good VF, toned.
