KINGS of PERSIS. Nambed (Namopat). 1st century AD. AR Drachm (17mm, 3.88 g, 6h). Diademed and draped bust left wearing mural crown; three pellets before / Nambed (Namopat) standing right; star in crescent to right. Cf. K&M 4/39b; Tyler-Smith, Parcel -; Alram 600 var. (annulet); cf. Sunrise 626 (hemidrachm). Good VF, toned. Apparently a unique symbol for this denomination.
