Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR tetradrachm (27mm, 17.20 gm, 2h). Amphipolis, early posthumous under Cassander, ca. 317-305 BC. Head of Heracles right wearing lion-skin headdress / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated on backless throne left, holding eagle on outstretched right hand and scepter in his left; torch and Λ in left field, star under throne.
