William III Crown 1700, S-3474, 3rd Bust, edge not readable in slab, MS63 NGC, a lustrous and choice example, generally sharp in strike albeit the top of the king's portrait shows the softness of detail seen on most crowns of this reign, no obverse adjustments, light mint-made adjustments through the lower quadrant of reverse shield otherwise the reverse details are very sharp, surfaces appealing as is the lightly iridescent silvery gold toning. Finer coins may exist but this is exceptional. From The Estate of John C. Hugon.
