Anne Roses & Plumes Halfcrown 1707, S-3582, Sexto edge, AU55 NGC, an especially fine coin, sharp in strike overall, perfectly centered with good rims, only small ancient abrasions under rich grayish blue patina. A classic silver coin made from what is often called West Country ore, mined in Wales (noted by the symbolic plumes) and from the far coastal counties (the roses; in later reigns both the roses and plumes stood for this source).
