George I Shilling 1720, S-3646, MS63 Lockett Collection NGC, an exceptionally Choice UNC example having elegant, old-time dark bluish gray toning, and a sharp strike. Noted on the grading insert as having come from the famous Lockett holdings many years ago. This coin possesses what the Europeans often call "old cabinet toning" and it is highly prized. A beautiful shilling that grows on you the more you look at it.
