George III gilt copper Proof Collection 1799 to 1813, a fantastic item consisting of the following uncertified coins from the Soho Mint: British Farthing 1799, British Farthing 1806, Irish Farthing 1806, British Halfpenny 1799, British Halfpenny 1806, Irish Halfpenny 1805, British Penny 1806, Irish Penny 1805, and Isle of Man Penny 1813 -- all heavily gilt, proofs with intensely brilliant mirrored surfaces and cameo portraits, mostly choice coins once housed in a custom-made fitted case that looks very old. We note some hairlines and light handling marks, test scratches on one, but most of these are excellent proofs with tons of flash and eye-appeal. First item of this kind we have ever offered.
