George III Proof Twopence 1797, S-3776, Soho Mint, Peck-1068 (late Soho; very scarce), PR64 BN NGC, Gem bronzed Proof in the cataloguer's opinion, virtually perfect bronze coating on the surfaces showing only flyspecks of carbon, deeply mirrored and truly gorgeous in color -- that of rich mahogany wood, only this is copper. (Blemishes are on the plastic slab.)
