George III gold Pattern Sixpence 1791, by Droz, ESC-1648, royal cypher, plain edge, PF55 NGC, light wear mainly on the Britannia side, numerous handling marks indicating that this piece possibly circulated as a half guinea, the cypher crisp in detail, golden red toning. Very rare, rated R6 in ESC, said to be known in only 3 or 4 pieces.
