British Colony. 66 Shillings with Numerous Counterstamps on Imitation Portugal 6,400 Reis (date off flan) (authority of 1798), Obverse counterstamped twice with incuse "S" and once on center plug, plug also with "JR" stamped over the "S," also on the obverse are three incuse letter "G" stamped near the edge, on the reverse an "IS" is stamped on the raised plug, 11.61g, 179.1gr, Gordon 106 (this coin), VF Details, Surface Hairlines NGC. According to Gordon, this piece was first plugged, and marked on St. Vincent, later taken to Grenada where it was restamped by the goldsmith JR, thus giving it the amazing mixture of goldsmiths stamps.
