Assortment of Tokens, Medals and more, Buenos Aires 1854 Constitution is bullish in its motif; examples in silver (VF) and copper (Fine but holed for suspension). A well used pair of theatre admission tokens from the "COLISEO DE BUENOS AYRES" are believed quite special (Dana notes a Karl Stephens piece at $219). Rulau F-40 apparently struck in the BA mint on blanks for the 1840 copper 2 Reales coinage; the second sample has an incused deep neat floral "P" countermark. Both grade Fine or so. The other pieces include a crown-sized copper "button" with "Viva la Federacion" and the National Arms. Also, an abused gildermeister token, indicated as "Leslie 60.g" and as RARE. White metal 36mm "2" (Reales ?) of Los Andes * Mendoza which is near Chile. Others include "Bric-a-Brac" 2 Centavos, likely of 1890 era, plus Rulau Arg-17 Espartilla Cu 50 Cnt showing "FAIR", plus neat brass 21mm BA merchant token, and finally a rather unusual 19mm brass token which shows "La Argentina" on one side, "1/4 Cuartilla" (that equals 1/16 Real, not more !) which may actually be from some other country (like Chile or Uruguay !). Neat random items for the local specialist; quality is mostly well circulated but acceptable. Sold as is, NO Return.Dana Roberts Collection and Study Group.

Estimate: 300.00-600.00 USD
