Collection of 1869 -1885 Cinco Decimos, KM divides the "Colombian Half Dollar" series into many types and varieties, making it a daunting task to understand or imagine collecting them. Specialists like Davis Burnett, Oen Nelson and Jorge Restrepo (with the tenured aid of Antonio Pedraza) have finely divided them in written volumes. This "starter group" has many of the earlier dates, some interesting and unusual varieties, and purposefully omits many of the truly common items --- thus inducing the "new collector" to locate them for himself. The quality is typical for the Cinco Decimos issues of Medellin and Bogota, F-VF for the most part. Also do note "there is much silver in them there hills".
