Bogota 10 Centavos 1881 hoard Lot, KM-175.1. The "dimes" or "decimos" of this date and mint have been plentiful in "UN-circulated" quality ...... but the original source of their minting has never been satisfactorily explained to specialists. The "odd and slightly atypical" bust style, and the lettering style, is not in line with other years. Perhaps most interesting in this group are two heavily circulated examples of this date --- the ones which might unlock the mystery ....
