Tokens and Notgeld of World War One, Second portion of this interesting accumulation, formed over nearly four decades, includes primarily German national issues from the time period near the end of World War I until the end of the hyper -inflation period a few years thereafter. Notgeld in its various forms is present beside some tokens and possibly some pseudo-coins and military items. Some of the tokens are from earlier periods but most of those are aluminum or white metal, the substance that is the common denominator of most items in this lot.
