Seven Centuries of English Coinage, Lot of 36 pieces spanning many eras, kings and denominations. Earliest is Seaby 5b "short cross silver penny" of John's second coinage during AD 1205 -1216. Next is an Edward silver penny. From the 17th century are one copper and five silver coins. 18th century represented by a quintet of copper pieces and six silver issues; most interesting is an 1763 NORTHUMBERLAND shilling which Dana Roberts declared "sort of an Irish proclamation piece". Fourteen silver pieces dated between 1825 and 1893 include a tiny 3/2d and a full attractive crown. Final three coins are a Victoria farthing 1865 and two silver pieces of Edward VII.
