Pattern Brass Peso 1881 Rarity, KM-Pn8. Albeit listed by KM we recall no prior listings of this small thick Brass pattern. Weighing 1.9 grams, with horizontal axis, and high-rim plain edge which rises above the flan itself, this piece looks very official and professionally produced. The obverse is the design of the issued 50 Centavos of 1870 and the small pattern 10 Centavos of 1876. The reverse seems to have employed the dies from the gold Peso of 1859 - 1860; can this be why KM mentions gold in their description.
