Fifty Centavo 1871 -1897 Study Group, KM37 dated 1871 (nice toned AVF). KM51 dated 1883 without P (nice AEF), plus a surprising group of FIVE examples with the clear "P" added in the wreath near three o'clock. While three of these scarcer pieces are in typical quality, two others are among the sharpest spotted of an issue not identified until the specialist researcher Holland Wallace published the discovery around 1970. Final trio in the lot are from the woeful penultimate year of type, 1897, all with the front being VG-F and the backside barely Good. Sold as is, NO Return.Dana Roberts Collection and Study Group.
