Sextet of Unusual Types 1808 -1837, KM 67 AU50 ANACS Barcelona copper 4 Quartos 1808 of Jose Napoleon is in unusually nice quality (KM shows VF $90 as its highest attainable grade). KM80 EF45 ANACS Valencia 2 Reales de vellon dated 1809 with Ferdinand bust is a scarce one-year-type valued by KM in EF at $135. KM 461 AU50 ANACS (details: clipped and damaged) Jubia copper 4 Maravedis 1812 is listed by KM as a rarer date with EF shown at $100. The ANACS "damage" was that the piece was stamped at the edge of the copper strip and thus naturally clipped before striking! Fourth and fifth are a pair of KM 70 Barcelona silver one Peseta dated 1812 (ANACS VF30) and 1813 (ANACS VF20); KM values these at $200 and $250 in VF. The sixth banjo in the "sextet" is a much later Catalonia KM-129 ANACS VF25 silver Peseta of Isabella which KM values at $120 in VF. Interesting and historically illustrative group. Sold as is, NO Return. Dana Roberts Collection and Study Group.

Estimate: 400.00-800.00 USD
