Watch List notes:

Barinas-Caujaral Chipi-chipi 1813, KM 2. Very Good quality Klippe cob style One Real featuring a "fantasy date" during its production around 1817-1824 during the difficult war period in the external zones. Weighs 1.7 grams of theoretically 30% silver but this appears a better quality mixture. Its stylized lions and castles are somewhat visible on this issue authorized by Paez. The "date" should be determinable by comparison to others among the 50-100 known examples of the type already studied but such does not yet seem to be the case. Dana Roberts (this is his lot 26131 sold for only $431 since the date is not clear; others with certain dates sold for north of $1000 ) labeled it "probably 1813".
