DC-8e-iii-M $1 1878 PMG Very Fine 30. A sharply inked and only lightly circulated example of a Charlton number that we have auctioned on only a few occasions over the years. This appealing example has just a few hardly noticeable edge tears. Despite the minor issues, this note is easily a condition census example. PMG has yet to grade anything above Very Fine, and this is the brightest and most attractive example of the Charlton number that we have ever handled.
