French Afars and Issas Tresor Public 500 Francs ND (1973) Pick 31 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. French Afars and Issas was previously known as French Somaliland and later known as Djibouti, dating these notes between 1967 and 1977. Done in a palette of light pastel colors in true French bank note style, this 500 Franc note depicts various types of ships from dhows to passenger ships on the face and an antelope on the back.
