Rhodesia and Nyasaland Bank of Rhodesia and Nyasaland 10 Pounds 3.6.1960 Pick 23a PMG Choice Very Fine 35. A wonderful example of colonial paper money. Issued for the then Rhodesia and Nyasaland, and was the highest denomination. The now outdated territory was spilt into three independent countries of Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Exquisite designs and shades of colors were used, Queen Elizabeth II can be seen to the right, and appears to almost be staring into the same distance as the lion in left corner. The back boasts a herd of elephants, which is a design that was repurposed for a later design from Malawi. Rare in any grade, and always desireable. From the Minot Collection HID08701242017
