South Africa Durban Bank 25 Pounds 12.4.1864 Pick S444b PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. Durban Bank was first known as Hartley and Co., and was started in 1862. It had then changed its name to London & Natal Bank before reverting back to Durban Bank. The Bank was liquidated in 1877. This example was hand signed and dated. £25 was the highest denomination. Uniface and cancelled. A great example of an early banknote from South Africa. HID08701242017
