Australia Commonwealth Bank of Australia 10 Shillings ND (1936-39) Pick 21 R11 PMG Very Fine 30. A handsome example of this uncommon type, with completely original paper and colors. Only a few specs on the reverse prevent EPQ status on this pleasing note, which features the long running signature combination of Riddle and Sheehan. Interestingly, the watermark on this note was Prince Edward, who would later become King Edward VIII in 1936 after the passing of his father. New notes featuring his bust were being prepared, but he abdicated the throne before any of his notes came to fruition. From the Kevin O'Hara Australian Banknote Collection HID08701242017
