Lebanon Banque de Syrie et du Liban 1 Livre 1.9.1939 Pick 26a PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. Currently tied with one other example at the top of the PMG Population Report, this terrific example was overprinted on each side with one blue slash. The printer, Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co, used up to four different colored overprints to identify batches of notes, in case any fell into enemy hands in transport during World War II.
