Vandals, Anonymous Pseudo-Imperial Æ Nummus. Uncertain mint (Carthage?), circa fifth century AD. Helmeted and draped bust of Roma(?) right / Cross within wreath. Mostecky, Appendix I, pl. XI, cf 711; cf. BMC Vandals 182-94. 0.46g, 10mm.

Very Fine.

From a private US collection;
Ex Fritz Rudolf Künker GmbH & Co. KG, eLive Auction 49, 15 May 2018, lot 338.

It is possible that BMC 182-94 might not be Vandalic, but could perhaps be coins of the Mauri (see BMC Vandals p. 40).
