CELTIC, Southern Gaul. Elusates. Circa 2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.34 g). Devolved and disjointed male head to left. Rev. Stylized horse to left, horseman devolved into triangular ornament; below, rectangular ornament containing vertical line surmounted by pellet. LT 3587. SLM 121-125. Beautifully toned and with a particularly charming reverse. The obverse slightly weak, otherwise, good extremely fine.
