BRUTTIUM. The Brettii. Circa 214-211 BC. Half Uncia (Bronze, 18.5 mm, 4.29 g, 8 h). Winged and diademed bust of Nike to left; thunderbolt below her neck. Rev. BPETTI[ΩN] Zeus, holding thunderbolt and scepter, driving biga to left; below, bunch of grapes. HN III 1989. Scheu 46. SNG ANS 112. A clear, sharp and well centered example, with a fine green-brown patina. Extremely fine.
