Bermuda Bermuda Government 5 Shillings 1.8.1920 (ND 1935) Pick 3a PCGS Very Fine 35PPQ. An absolutely choice and beautiful example of this very rare type, which is seldom seen in any grade. Although dated 1920, this initial denomination was not released until 1935. King George V passed away in 1936, and the new series of notes featuring King George VI was released in 1937, which lead to most of these notes to be redeemed. This example features the first signature variety, and a small serial number in the A/1 prefix. PPQ status should add desirability to this already widely sought after Commonwealth rarity.
