Cuba Banco Nacional de Cuba 10 Pesos ND (1905) Pick 68 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. The highest denomination from this initial series, that ultimately was supposed to be destroyed after printing. However, not all notes were seized after the initial distribution, and a few banks released some examples before word spread throughout the island. This uncirculated example is particularly impressive, as was thankfully saved by a forward-thinking person who realized the rarity of this extremely brief series. At the time of cataloging, there are only four examples graded in the PMG Population Report, with two being Uncirculated. Toned margins and a few rust specs are noted, but the rarity of this denomination, and series as a whole, outweighs any comments on the back of the third party holder.
