South Africa South African Reserve Bank 20 Pounds 2.9.1928 Pick 88a PMG Very Fine 25. This would be the second Clegg signed £20, with the first being the Pilkington design. Only 50,000 were printed, and represented a lot of money for the day. Incredible vignettes of Van Riebeeck's arrival at the Cape on the face, and South African Crest on the back. The last example we sold in 2018 as a Very Fine 20, sold for $2400.
