New Zealand Reserve Bank of New Zealand 10 Pounds ND (1956-67) Pick 161c PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. A beautiful, large format and high denomination note. It is important to acknowledge that this final series is available with high serial numbers in the AS prefix, as those final notes were unissued and sold to collectors after New Zealand adopted the decimalized currency scheme. This example, however, has the AE prefix, and was plucked from a random pack during its period of circulation. High face value prevented most of these issued examples from being saved, and if it was not for the AS prefix notes, this example would stand out as an unusually high grade rarity.
