Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, copper 4 maravedis, Charles-Joanna, assayer F, with key (revaluation to 2M, 1577) and anchor (Jamaica, 1611-16) countermarks, rare. S-SD1; CT-Type 134. 3.65 grams. Fine, somewhat crude with light surface corrosion (typical for the series) but solid, with a rare set of two different countermarks indicating its circulation in two countries some 35-40 years apart.
