Curious shape (triangle with curved sides, sharp points) with full 6/4 of date (the only example we have seen), much crown and shield, off-center cross, no corrosion but some spots of dark oxidation. From the 1715 Fleet, pedigreed to our Auction #13, with original lot-tag #715, and to our Auction #8, with original lot-tag #888. Auction lot-tag personally signed by John Pullin.
