Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, 165(?)P. S-M19; KM-45. 26.57 grams. Broad, roundish flan with full 165 of date outside of full and bold oMP, full shield and cross, weak peripheries with (on the reverse) two small test-punches, very light surface oxidation, toned in crevices. From an unidentified Dutch wreck off Tuban, Indonesia, with photo-certificate, pedigreed to the Ponterio auction of September 2008 (lot #1418).
