Bold strike with artistic details, lightly toned with luster around elements, minimal high-point wear. Watters lists this medal as #65 in his 1876 work Coins and Medals of Bolivia, from the Establishment of the Republic to the Present Time. The Aramayo family was known to be "the biggest local investors in the Cerro Rico," according to Kris Lane in his 2019 book Potosi: The Silver City That Changed the World (p. 189). PCGS #32917081.
