Nearly prooflike quality with highly lustrous fields and frosty details, faint amber toning across middle, light circular die-polish lines indicative of a specimen strike or pattern, this year known for experimentation in other metals due to wartime need for nickel, an unlisted date variety (with both 1's as J's) in any case, second finest in NGC census behind a single MS 64.
