CELTIC, Lower Danube. Uncertain tribe. 3rd to 2nd centuries BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.84 g, 12 h). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞAN[...] Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right. Darkly toned. A few deposits, otherwise, very fine.
