Sellwood-86.3; Shore-448. Obverse: Diademed facing bust, wearing long beard and with hair in bunches above head and over ears; Reverse: Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; monogram below bow. About as exceptional and exemplary of an ancient coin as you're ever going to find, this tremendous example offers intense luster that radiates throughout along with a pleasing light cabinet tone accentuated by golden highlights. The strike is bold and especially transfixing on the obverse, with the king gazing back at the viewer. A true connoisseur's coin in each and every aspect.
