Another version of this VERY RARE propaganda piece, this time on the smaller denomination of 50 Kopeks. These counterstruck issues were meant to celebrate the deposing of the czar and his family, bringing to an end the 300 year rule of the Romanovs. The counterstamp itself is barely circulated and well executed. Host coin: 1912, Bit-91; exceedingly lustrous and argent.
