PHILIPPINES. Proof Set (7 Pieces), 1904. Philadelphia Mint. All PCGS Gold Shield Certified.
KM-PS2. Mintage: 1,355 sets. An attractive well preserved and lustrous nicely matched Gem quality complete proof set. The silver coins display matching golden russet toning with varying amounts of iridescent hues of cobalt, magenta, violet and a splash of sea foam green on a couple. The Centavo is encompassed by a beautiful combination of iridescent purple and lapis with hints of magenta amongst the devices of the reverse. The 1/2 Centavo is somewhat musty displaying a light iridescent sheen that pops out when tilted in the light over muted coppery patina. The 5 Centavo is bright and flashy with mottled light golden tone. A lovely set with good eye appeal that clearly sat together for a prolonged period of time undisturbed.
