LOTS - Lot Belgium (2) Consisting of two medals, both in cassette. One is a bronze medal depicting Leopold II on the obverse and a text on the reverse advocating the construction of a new harbour. It is dated 1957 and was sold by H. Kimpe-De Clercq in Gent. The second is an elongated silver medal dated the 1st of July 1950, and was sold by médailleur J. Fonson. This medal was made in honour of François Boey for his contributions to the URBFSA, the precursor of the modern Royal Belgian Football Association. The obverse shows a football player tossing the ball and below the signature of the artist, G. Devreese. The reverse depicts a rising sun and the text.In original custom cassette, both in good condition
